![]() The costumes are so iconic and the illustrations so exact that it’s easy to tell which movies are represented. I loved the spread showing Audrey in her costumes from various movies. Throughout the book I was so impressed by how simple the images seemed but how perfectly they captured the spirit of the book and the woman. My favorite part about this book is the illustrations, which perfectly capture the delicate elegance of Audrey Hepburn. There’s plenty more information to be filled in, so readers can move on to other sources as they’re ready. While it certainly has its flaws – I know we can’t talk about Audrey without mentioning her beauty and style, but we maybe could have lightened up on that aspect here – it’s a great introduction for someone who might have just been introduced to Audrey or be looking for some acting inspiration. I think it gives a good overview of her life, acknowledging that she faced some hardship but ultimately became a successful and important woman. This book is, like Audrey, pretty lovely.
